As if I didn't complain enough all ready . . . A lot of my close friends know how much I used to hate math. No matter what I did, I could never get it. Now, however, I'm doing very well. I actually like math. This is the first time, however, that I have liked math more than English. It's not that I dislike the subject itself, it's that I really can't stand my teacher, nor can any of my other classmates.
Well, what has she done that's so abysmal?
First off, she is very lousy at assigning homework. She will wait until the very end of class and won't even say, "This is for homework." Most often, she just talks about what we'll be doing but not, "This is homework!" or "This is due tomorrow!" As a result, it isn't uncommon for a good portion of us to not get the homework.
Second, she assigns work in a weird way. For classwork, she will tell us everything we'll be doing throughout the entire week at once. As a result, when it's time to do the assignment, we all ask each other, "What are we doing?" For one of the assignments, what we had to do was imagine we were on lifeboats and only had six things with us. The six things were provided on the list. However, she gave us the backstory three times, wording it differently each time, but failed to tell us HOW we'd do it. Additionally, she failed to say that we'd be lost at sea and not stranded on an island, so literally none of the groups did the assignment correctly.
Third, she has no regard for people's health conditions. Today there was this one boy in the library using one of the computers, and he was in a boot. I don't know if his ankle had been broken or twisted, but he was in a boot nonetheless. Despite this, she made him get all of his things and move to a different computer, away from the main part of the room. Then there was a boy in my class who was out for a solid week due to issues with his appendix, and he actually stayed in the hospital for a bit. As a result, when he got back, we had to take a quiz. He could not take the quiz because he was absent throughout the entire lesson. Despite this, she still put his grade in as a zero, as if he had completely failed it. He had to complain to her three times before she finally acquiesced and changed his grade. Most other teachers will tell the kid to come and stay after school in a few days when they feel ready to take the quiz, and they simply won't put in the grade until the kid has taken a make-up quiz/test. Not this teacher!
Fourth, she is not above literally humiliating her students in front of the entire class. She has done this to me three times all ready! What I'll do is I'll try my hardest to answer the question as completely as I can, and there are times where these are OPINION questions, but she will still tell me that my answer is the exact opposite of what SHE is looking for. Yeah, tell me what you think about this, but if it doesn't match what I'm thinking word for word, it's wrong! And she has said that before. When we were reading The Lord of the Flies, we had to analyze a passage she had chosen. The passage we had was one we had to think long and hard about to understand, and when I gave my answer, she came right out and said, "That is actually the exact opposite of what I'm looking for." Then yesterday, she tells us to highlight parts of a particular paragraph we found interesting. I repeat, WE FOUND INTERESTING. This was an opinion question, so I told her what I thought was interesting. Then she says, with this smug condescending smile plastered on her face, "That is the exact opposite of what I asked you to look for." Even when I tried to defend myself, she kept telling me that I was wrong, I was totally wrong, I was so wrong I may as well have not answered at all. This was for the entire class to hear.
I really, REALLY hate her as a teacher. I'm considering switching classes, but I don't know if there are any other teachers or course this semester who teach English Three Advanced. I have yet to meet a single student who has ANYTHING positive to say about this teacher.

New Blogs
I was watching a YouTube video by Jenna Moreci about marketing your book, and how you should start marketing before the book is finished. So, I figured, since I want to publish some of my stories one day, that I would try starting up my own blogs to help promote my two big stories, but mostly so I can keep my fans (all like, two of them, lol) updated on what's going on behind the scenes.
The Dragon Boy blog, Dragon Boy Official Tumblr, can be found here.
The Sense of Something blog, Sense of Something Official Tumblr, can be found here.
Super creative titles, I know.
I also made Discord servers for the two, but I haven't sent out any invi

So as some of you may or may not have noticed, I've been pretty dead for a few months. No, it's not just because I don't want to work on getting my inbox back down to a reasonable number, though that certainly doesn't help. Mostly it's because I've been trying to avoid getting caught in wormholes where I'm like, "Well I'll just check real quick" and the next thing I know it's 3 hours later. Not only that, but y'know, work and school, my classic excuse. Not only that but I've frequently found myself not wanting to do anything because one of my cats has been missing and I think about him and get bummed out. What keeps me going is that he was sp
Help Me Draw in 100 Styles!
So I currently have my hands full with 2 big projects (both animation, one is a request), but before I started these, I had taken on a project to draw my fan character Hiroto in 20 different styles. Until yesterday I had 17 styles planned. After speaking with Skittysrule (https://www.deviantart.com/skittysrule), we started coming up with more styles. I know there are well more than 20 animated styles, so to help keep me from getting rusty after the animations are done, as well as give me some exercise beyond my comfort zone, I thought I'd try and accumulate as close to 100 styles as possible for me to practice in my free time. I will shortly be posting a list of the styles I ha
Someone is trying to get me fired over $1.25
Well I've been working a lot the past few days, and today I did a double shift with a three hour break for my class at the community college. I work at a restaurant my dad has owned for about 10 years now, I think. When I got back to work, someone called asking if they could get straight-up bolognese sauce, like about a pint. On the menu we have a pasta with bolognese sauce for $10.50 just about, so I said it would be between $7-8 for a pint (the ingredients to make it are fairly expensive to begin with, and we have to be able to make a profit so we can afford to pay the employees, rent the space the store occupies, pay for utilities, etc.)

I have no idea how the teacher stuff works abroad from where I live, but here you can complain on the teacher if the teacher is absolutely shitty and is humiliating the students.
I sort of hope you can do that too, god just reading that makes me want to find her and yell at her for being such an ass.
